I really have to say that this is one of the BEST chocolate frosting I have ever tasted! When I first made it, I really didn’t want to put it on the cake, I just wanted to eat bowls and bowls of it. This is a very creamy and chocolate(y) frosting I hope you enjoy making it as I do. This recipe is adapted from Hershey Foods Corporation.

Yield: 2 cups of frosting – 24 cupcakes, 2 9-inch cakes, 13 x 9x 2-inch cake

6 T. butter ( 1/2 stick + 2 T.)

Hershey’s Cocoa:

1/3 c. for light flavor

1/2 c. for medium flavor

3/4 c. dark flavor

2 2/3 c.

1/3 c. milk

1 t. vanilla

In a mixer bowl cream the butter, until creamy. Blend in the cocoa, confectioners’ sugar, with milk; beat to spreading consistency( add additional milk if needed). Blend in vanilla.   Frost and Enjoy!
